Total Environmental Compliance recently started an exciting new contract based at two Royal Armouries sites, housing some of the most important collections of arms and armour in the world.
We are privileged to be providing regular water hygiene monitoring services, water treatment and Legionella risk assessments for The Royal Armouries Museum, Clarence Dock in Leeds and Fort Nelson near Fareham, Hampshire.
The purpose-built Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds has over a million visitors every year and is responsible for providing a safe environment for all its building users.
The museum in Leeds displays the national collection, revealing the story of the development of arms and armour through the pieces, audio-visual presentations, computer interactives and interpretations that bring the subject to life.
Heading south to Fort Nelson in Hampshire is the Royal Armouries’ national collection of artillery and historic cannon, housing over 700 pieces of artillery from across the world and spanning 600 years of history.
Total Environmental Compliance are providing a range of water treatment and water hygiene services including:
- Cold and hot water service outlets monitoring
- Descaling/cleaning/disinfection of storage tanks, showerheads, calorifier etc.
- Hot and cold-water system disinfection
- Annual tank clean and disinfection
- Water quality testing
- TMV servicing
- Closed system sampling to BSRIA specification
- Closed system chemical and bacterial analysis
- Chemical dosing maintenance and installation, and
- Legionella risk assessments
